2010

Acquisition and Expansion

Since Southeast Directional Drilling’s inception in 2002, we have successfully completed over several hundred miles of crossings. Over 35 miles were 42″ HDD’s. Keep posted for latest updates in figures. In the first quarter of the year, we acquired the assets of Frontier Pipeline to increase our rig size.

2009

Strengthened for Growth

Through the strategic partnering with Sorenson Capital, we are now able to continue to grow and improve our service to customers.

2008

Year of the 42”

Southeast completes their longest crossing at the time with a crossing of 42” with the Mississippi River, at just over 5,700 feet. Setting their expectation high for both themselves, as well as their clients, Southeast will continue to successfully execute projects with prosperous results.

2006

The Big Work

The big work started to roll in in 2006 with Energy Transfer’s 42 inch project in Bethel, Texas. Contracted by Sheehan Pipeline, Southeast Directional Drilling successfully knocked out the six large diameter HDD’s by June of 2006. Later that year, seven more 42 inch HDD’s were completed for other contractors such as Associated Pipeline Contractors and Willbros RPI.

2004

World record set

Marking the start of Southeast Directional Drilling’s many accomplishments, on July 3, 2004, upon being awarded the Cross Island Project, Southeast successfully set a world record of completing three horizontal directional drills, all at 56” in diameter. After only 2 years of being business, and the support from Bechtel, Southeast was able to create their reputation of success and innovation. **Check out “News and Events” for the complete story
