Directional Boring Contractors

Directional Boring Contractors

Directional boring is a common process in construction projects. Directional boring services are required whenever a pipeline is to be installed or when communications lines are required. Laying gas lines, oil pipelines, water lines, and fiber optic lines are all frequent projects for companies and municipalities, so directional drilling services are often needed.

Southeast Directional Drilling is one of the premier horizontal directional drilling contractors in the industry. A wide range of challenging projects has earned the company both a reputation as an industry leader and a high level of respect. Recently, in Trinidad, Southeast was responsible for the installation of a 56 inch diameter pipeline. Three separate bores of 2200 to 2500 feet were dug and the pilot holes reamed to an incredible 72 inches in diameter so as to accommodate the enormous pipeline. This truly is a record setting project.

This is not Southeast’s only engineering record, however. A 6,380 foot bore performed by Southeast was a record at the time and remained so for some time. The company is also responsible for North America’s deepest directionally drilled river crossing. At over 800 feet deep, this is an accomplishment rarely seen in the directional drilling industry. These are only some of the many interesting and remarkable projects Southeast Directional Drilling has completed and the company is looking forward to many more years of success.

Much of the company’s success is due to its top-notch management team. The company’s management professionals have been in the pipeline and directional drilling industry for a combined 100 plus years and they know what it takes to get the job done right. To discuss an upcoming project or to receive a bid, please contact our estimating team on our contact us page.
